Statistical Modelling

HS 2024 | ETH Zürich | Dr. Markus Kalisch

“Statistical Modelling” explores regression analysis, investigating relationships between random response variables and covariates. The course covers linear, high-dimensional, nonlinear, and generalized linear models. It examines theories of general linear models, robust methods, and model selection, while also addressing connections to variance analysis, model search techniques, and residual analysis.

The course combines theoretical foundations with practical examples. This approach illustrates the application of statistical modelling concepts across various real-world scenarios.
